Thank you for joining us here at Harmony Worship Services.
We strive to provide Christian worship services for all residents of Harmony at Wescott Assisted Living Facility who wish to participate. It is our fervant hope that this community of Christian believers continues to grow and thrive as a community who are supporting each other in our walk with Christ. We as a group will come together each week on the Lords day Sunday at 2:00 for the purpose of edification and sanctification as we learn about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through the preaching of his Holy word from the Bible. Since many of the residents at Harmony cannot attend a traditional brick and mortar outside church due to health reasons we through this ministry hope to allow them the same fellowship and sanctification opportunity by bringing the Church Service to them. Most of our scheduled speakers are either retired Pastors or currently in Seminary who have donated their time to this ministry. All are welcome to join in worship with us online or you can reach out to us for approval if you would like to visit in person if you are not a resident of Harmony at Wescott.
If you are a resident and want to become more involved with this ministry and help us to reach more people for the Lord please let someone know in person or our chat system during one of our live services or you can even contact us by email at the contact button below.
We look forward to working together with all of you to bring all of the residents of Harmony at Wescott and any of our online members closer in their relationship with Jesus Christ until that day he returns for his bride and snatches us all away to meet him in the clouds.
We hope that by reading the short statements below in combination with our mission message above it will help you to get to know us better and you will have a better idea of the type of group that we strive to be for the Lord.
We will without any apology or reservation always teach accurately from the Bible while standing on the belief that the God-breathed Scriptures are wholly true in all things that they assert and therefore function with the authority of God’s own words.
It should be clear from the Bible that God created all men and women as equals and does not countenance racism, ethnocentrism, or discriminations due to physical or mental handicap or illness of any kind. God created humanity in His image according to Genesis 1:27 and therefore God only sees one race, the human race. As we all are sinners and will one day face judgement equally before the Lord. We as a Church will until then welcome all to gather equally before the Lord for salvation and sanctification.
Centered on a message of Love and Truth we will avoid the extremes of Legalism or Liberalism. We will preach a message centered in Gods word morally and doctrinally. We will promote a view that we should live by all the truth revealed in the answer Jesus gave to the question what is the greatest commandment in the law?
Matthew 22:36-39
36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”37 Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’38 This is the first and greatest commandment.39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’We will be a Church group that believes we have a God given obligation, duty and calling to reach out and preach the Gospel to not only ALL of the residents at Harmony at Wescott Assisted Living but also to the local community and ultimately the world.
We believe and will teach through preaching the truth that is so easy to see all around us today that we are most certainly living through the times of "Birth Pains" that Jesus told his disciples to be watchful for in Matthew 24 and would precede his imminent return. So we look forward to that day soon to come when Jesus will come for his Church with the sound of the trumpet of God and the elect will meet him in the clouds as the scripture says ...
1 Thessalonians 4:17-18
17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.
Below you will find pictures and a small bio about the speakers and worship leaders who have committed to giving their time to support this ministry. As this is not a traditional church we do not have a Lead Pastor but are rather blessed by the willingness of many different men and women who have come together to help all of the wonderful residents at Harmony at Wescott Assisted living facility have the same opportunity to worship the Lord Jesus Christ alongside fellow Christian believers right here at the facility since many cannot leave to attend an outside Church. Please be patient as we have yet to get all of the pictures or personal Bio's written of everyone so we will add them as we can.
